Building Blocks For Kids (BB4K) provides grants for children with
autism and other disabilities. BB4K grants can be used to fund a number of
services and supports to improve the quality of life for children with special
needs, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, aqua therapy,
specialized intensive therapy, home modifications, communication devices,
medical equipment, transportation assistance and adaptive clothing.
To qualify for a grant, children need to be under age 18
and either live in or have strong ties to the Cincinnati area. In addition, the
cost of the treatment or support they need must be significant, not covered by
insurance and unable to be funded by resources available to the child’s parents.
